Legal
This Cookie Policy explains how hoc ltd ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on hoc-ltd.co.uk. It applies to anyone visiting the site from the UK or EU, and is governed by UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let the site remember things — for example, that you've already accepted our cookie banner, or how you reached us. Some cookies are essential for the site to work; others help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it.
Strictly necessary cookies. These keep the site working and don't need your consent under PECR. They include the cookie that remembers your cookie banner choice (set by us as cc=accepted or cc=rejected in your browser's localStorage), and any session cookies set by Webflow that hold the site together while you browse.
Analytics cookies — Google Analytics 4 (GA4). Planned, not yet active. When wired up, GA4 will set a small set of cookies (typically _ga, _ga_<container-id>) that count site visits, measure how long people spend on each page, and tell us which pages bring the most interest. The data is aggregated — we can't identify you personally from it. You will need to accept the banner for these cookies to be set.
Marketing cookies — Meta Pixel. Planned, not yet active. When wired up, Meta Pixel will use cookies (typically _fbp) to measure ad performance and let us show relevant ads on Meta-owned platforms (Facebook, Instagram). You will need to accept the banner for these cookies to be set.
If we add new cookies in the future, we will update this page and, where required, ask for your consent again.
When you first land on the site, our banner asks you to Accept All or Reject All. Your choice is stored locally in your browser; the banner won't reappear on subsequent visits unless you clear your site data.
To change your mind:
You have the right to know what personal data we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to processing, and to ask us to send your data to another service. If we use cookies for analytics or marketing, you have the right to withdraw consent at any time using the steps above.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@hoc.design. We aim to respond within 30 days.
