Animo, was born out of a sibling project in 2023. Hoc was involved in the design of 3 collections that could be personalised and 3D printed on-demand. Leveraging a shared passion for animals and 3D printing technology, the client created an Etsy shop featuring hand-designed biodegradable PLA ornaments. Sustainability is core to the business -minimally designed prints, using biodegradable materials and created in hoc’s home studio. Each ornament order is produced on-demand to avoid waste and inefficiencies.
The shop was founded by siblings Ben and Chase - hoc’s manufacturing and prototyping facilities were utilised during the development of all collections. Shown above and below is the Safari collection, consisting of 8 funky continuous-line animal ornaments. With imagination and care, we aim to capture each buyer’s beloved pet or favourite animal in a unique sculpture suitable for display. We find great joy in creating lasting mementoes out of sustainable materials. Shown here are the 3 collections, Safari, Ocean and Dogs. We also designed a customisable range of dogs with names.
hoc was also involved in the creation of a brand identity for the shop. This involved the design of a logo, a shop banner and packaging.
